Hello everyone! Donna here sharing another project using the December "Lemonade" kit featuring the Star Gazer collection by Dear Lizzy.
A little background of my scrapbook page today. I usually start in the middle and work my way around that spot in my layout. For today's project, I decided to do it differently in terms of design flow.
I cut a patterned paper in half, diagonally. Then I adhered it on the left side of a white cardstock. I added a white doily and also folded it in half. This is where I placed my photo with some messy thread underneath.
I followed the diagonal line to adhere the fussy cut flowers and frames.
I like the mixture of different embellishments in the kit. I used wood veneers, fussy cut images and ephemera pieces to decorate my page.
I used a pink metallic paint to color the chipboard word "memories" and then scattered colorful sequins to finish off the whole page. To add texture and height, I used foam tapes to some of the fussy cut images as well as ephemera pieces.
That's all from me today. I hope you liked my page!
Thanks for dropping by.
