Hi! It's Heather Doolittle here with you to share a pocket page spread that I made using this month's Riga kit!
I have a lot of Project Life to catch up on. I have half of last year to complete and then all of this year so far to do! Eek! So I jumped at the chance to do a page in my album. Maybe I'll get this done before 2019! :)
To begin with this page, I cut apart a few of the printable page that is included in the kit. I LOVED both of the journaling cards, and ended up using the "YES" one for this page. The grey diagonal pattern in the far right pocket is actually some packaging from one of the Pinkfresh embellishments that are included in the kit! I loved that subtle design, so I trimmed out a 3x4 card and used it in this spread! Don't let anything go to waste!
I used some of the diecuts and puffy stickers in the kit to embellish my page. I thought about adding some more little bits to the photos, but all of the photos were too busy for what I picked out to place on them. So I went with the more simple approach! I journaled in two different spots on this spread-- I mixed my handwriting with some typewritten words to keep it interesting! Sometimes I like variety, sometimes I like similitude. All of the photos were taken the same day, and there were only two different events to document, so I just used two separate areas to write down the details.
I loved putting this page together-- now I need to make another page with a shaker pocket full of the amazing sequins in the kit!
See you next time!
