Hey everyone! Khristina here and I wanted to share a quick and easy way that I use up ephemera pieces since so many come in these kits and packs. This tag came together quickly as I started with a plain white shipping tag and then added a little bit of mixed media with my distressed ink and Tim Holtz stencil. Then, I just simply layer everything together with some crepe paper and a doily for texture. That little deer was so super adorable that it makes a great stand alone piece. A quick tip for making that little piece shine is to put it on some fun foam and let it have some dimension.
The little pink ticket went perfectly along with the little bow around her neck and I was done. I love to use my tiny attacher as a design element to add just a little something different. Now, I have this tag ready-made and easy to add to any project. Do you ever make embellishment clusters ahead of time so that you can just include them on a layout or in a traveler's notebook spread with ease? This particular tag ended up being part of a traveler's notebook spread about my daughter's up close and personal experience with feeding the deer at a local attraction.
