Hey, Friends! Maryám here with you today to share a new project using the November 2017 kit and the Printable Journaling Cards I designed for this month. If you are a subscriber go to “The Clique” tab and then click “monthly downloads”, and if you are not a subscriber click in the button down below to get them.
For today’s project I wanted to create do something easy and simple, so I printed the Journaling cards and chose my favorites to work with. These cards are perfect for Thanksgiving Day or for any other day or person that you feel grateful.
For the first card, what I did was resize the .png image in Photoshop and once I had it done I sent it to my printer. Then, I took the foam scripted words that came in the kit and I added the word “thank you” and, at the end, I added a black enamel heart from Bella Blvd.
For the second card, which is more like a tag, I printed the journaling card first and then, I created a cluster of embellishments. First I added gold leaves that I fussy cut from the gold vellum sheet that came in the kit, then I added a flower from the Girl Squad ephemera pack and, at the end, I put a kind of a ticket that says “thank you” and with some foam squares I put that little girl with orange hair over the flower. As a final touch, I added some white and gold twine.
I hope you liked these “Thank You” cards. They are super easy to do and are perfect to make with kids or friends.
Have a wonderful week!
